Sunday school classes are held at 9:15 on Sundays during the worship service. Children's Church classes are held for K-3rd graders and Kid's Connect classes are held for 4-6 grade. Volunteers are always welcome to assist (held in the lower level).
Coffee Fellowship time is held in the lower level immediately after church. Come down for a treat and a beverage, and to connect with friends. Volunteers are always needed to host it. See the signup sheet gathering area..
Our bell choir has been providing a special musical emphasis to our worship services since 1997, primarily during the non-Summer months. Practices are held Monday afternoons at 2pm. If you are interested in joining us, please talk to LeeAnn Olson.
Join the Lectio Divina/Dig Deeper group every Tuesday at 9 am as we wrestle through the deeper meanings of the weekly scripture text. Join us in person (sometimes also on zoom).

Join our new choir JOYFUL as we share our talents, praise God and sing for joy. Led by choir director Patti Stoddard. We practice on Tuesdays at the church at 6:30pm. Contact Patti if you'd like more information.
Plan to join the quilters who meet weekly on Wednesday at 1 pm at the church. Everyone is welcome, from novice to experienced quilters! Just show up or contact Kay Struve if interested. We do take the summers off.
Men's group is meeting at 8:30 am every Thursday at church. Join us for fun, fellowship and perhaps a few projects.
If you can play, or want to learn how to play the mountain dulcimer, come visit us in the sanctuary, Thursday mornings at 8:30. Beginners welcome.
Pop-up dinners are informal affairs, happening most Thursday evenings at the Earthwood Inn. Check the church calendar on the home page to see if there is one this week! Occasionally we change locations, so check with Pat Meyer or Helene Hedlund if you can't find us.
Our WELCA group is very active during the fall & winter months. We meet the second Tuesday of each month during fall & winter! Join the ladies of the church as we meet for prayer, bible study and fellowship! Contact Linda Grong or Pastor Susan if you are interested.
Guitar and bluegrass worship lead by Phil Berge. This group plays in worship on the third Sunday or each month and practices several times during the week before. Contact Phil if you are interested in playing and instrument or just singing along!
Monthly church picnics are hosted during summer months by the men's groups in the lower level of the church or out in the garden. Come and eat for free on Wednesday picnic nights. Other groups host periodic feed (such as chili, soup or lasagna) during the winter months. Check the calendar of events for details.
The KRLC Fall Festival combines good food, lots of games, a church rummage sale and other activities into one great afternoon for everyone in the community.
Originally called the "Fishcake Dinner" this event, held in October, now centers on Swedish meatballs and other Scandinavian fare. Come for a great meal and a good time.
Julebyen is a Knife River tradition. It is a Christmas market hosted by the Knife River Rec Center and held on the first weekend of December. Large crowds are on hand to do Christmas shopping, take train rides and, on Sunday, view the Live Nativity (sponsored by KRLC).
In late January or early February the entire congregation meets for luncheon and a time of reflection, discussion and action. Reports of the various committees are presented and approved and a slate of officers is put forward for election.
