Join us as we seek to honor God and all of creation, to give praise and thanksgiving and to pray for the sick and those in need and for the work of peace, justice, forgiveness and truth in our world.
We lift up our praises to God in song and readings. Our music ranges from classical to contemporary and is led by a host of musical groups and musicians.

We believe that the invitation to receive communion is for everyone, not only for those who have been baptized. It is a simple matter of hospitality. This is not our table, it is the Lord's table, and all are welcome!
The church year begins with Advent, starting on the fourth Sunday before Christmas. During Advent we look forward expectantly to the birth of Jesus, the coming of our Messiah by lighting a candle to remember the events leading up to that time.

Following Christmas we worship in the season of Epiphany, celebrating the life and teachings of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Ash Wednesday occurs 46 days before Easter and marks the beginning of the season of Lent. On Ash Wednesday we are reminded that "we are dust, and to dust we shall return". The sign of the cross is placed on our foreheads to signify this.
The season of Lent encompasses the 40 days before Easter and is a time of awakening of the spirit, looking inward in repentance and forward to renewal.
Palm Sunday is the Sunday before Easter and starts off Holy Week. It commemorates Jesus's entry into Jerusalem prior to his trial, execution and resurrection. The men often hold a pancake breakfast at church on this morning.
A solemn service called Tenebrae is held at the church during the evening of Good Friday in remembrance of the death of Jesus and his ultimate triumph over it.
Easter is when we celebrate Christ's resurrection from the dead and our new life in Him.
The celebration of Pentecost occurs 49 days after Easter and marks the fiery presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives. It is followed by the season of Pentecost which stretches through the ordinary church year until Advent.
Held on the first Sunday in November, it is a service of remembrance, especially for all those who have passed away in the last year.
Often held in June, it is a celebration of all the quilts that have been created by KRLC quilters during the past year and a blessing of their ministry as they are donated to good causes worldwide.
All of God's creatures are honored on this Sunday in the fall. You are encouraged to bring your favorite beast for a blessing.
